The authentication and currency supplier and printer, De La Rue, contacted Label Lab regarding security labels for pallet identification.
As De La Rue design and produce high value products such as bank notes, it was essential that the adhesive and face materials that were tamper-evident and effective in protecting pallets from theft whilst in transit.
With a focus on traceability and safety during shipment, it was essential that a high specification trial was conducted prior to the worldwide roll-out of the security labels.
During the high specification trial, we tested various materials such as void seals, no-residue and tamper-evident labels combined with heavy duty, non-removable adhesives.
As well as safeguarding products, the labels had to be compatible with the variable QR codes for efficient pallet identification.
